Therapist Gina Robinson has worked with children and adolescents for over 20 years, helping them with social skills mood issues, distractibility/ inattention, nervous feelings, grief and loss, trauma, and general developmental issues. Gina uses creativity to engage the child and integrates the use of play, art, music, games, role-plays and computer media into the treatment as appropriate, with the specialness of each client in mind.
In certain cases, the right option is group therapy, where youth meet in groups of 6 to 12 to solve problems and learn new skills (such as social skills or anger management). We work to make the children and adolescents feel safe so that they can feel comfortable enough to share and receive.
