Milestones Counseling & Consulting Services
We believe that counseling is a tool to help people win in everyday life. Counseling helps teach social skills, problem solving skills and helps promote a better understanding of self.
We have worked with children and adolescents, and young adults who experience challenges in everyday life including school, work, recreational, home and work settings. We have helped clients develop social skills, with mood issues, with distractibility/ inattention, with nervous feelings, grief and loss, trauma, and general developmental issues. We use creativity to engage our clients through the use of play, art, music, games, role-plays and computer media into the treatment as appropriate, with the specialness of each client in mind.
We are experienced clinicians in helping our clients with special educational needs including developmental disabilities including those with high functioning autism, intellectual disabilities and various other learning disabilities and that interfere with learning.
We also consult with families of special needs students regarding IEP’s, 504s, and behavioral interventions.
MCCS was founded by Child & Adolescent Therapist, Gina M. Robinson, LCSW-C, LICSW, a licensed therapist in Maryland and Washington, DC.
Gina Robinson, LCSW-C, LICSW- Owner/Therapist
I believe in the ability of my clients to do more than they think they can. I believe they are more resilient, more capable, and more insightful than they realize. In my work with clients, I help them discover more of their potential.
Brittany Grinnell, LCPC, - Therapist
I believe building trust is the first step in therapy, and I will work with your child to make them feel safe and heard. I believe everyone has a set of strengths, and I work to help my clients build on those strengths, while also learning new tools.
Meghan Powers, LGPC - Therapist

Denise Butcher, LMSW - Therapist
I believe knowing your strength increases self efficacy, which inturn promotes healing. Using a person-centered and strength-based perspective, I partner with clients to understand their strengths and skills.
John Robertson, LMSW - Therapist
I believe that much like an ancient stucco statue concealing a core of pure gold, our true selves are often obscured by life's challenges and experiences. In my three decades as an educator, mentor, and therapist, I've witnessed the transformative power of unveiling one's authentic potential.
Shaneka Campbell, LGMFT - Therapist
